Verse of the Day: Joel 2:25, 26

NIV: “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the swarm locusts—my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.”

The Message: “I’ll make up for the years of the locust, the great locust devastation—locusts savage, locusts deadly, fierce locusts, locusts of doom, that great locust invasion I sent your way. You’ll eat your fill of good food. You’ll be full of praises to your God, the God who has set you back on your heels with wonder. Never again will my people be despised. You’ll know without question that I’m in the thick of life with Israel, that I’m your God, yes your God, the one and only real God. Never again will my people be despised.”

A Prayer:

Father,

I am absolutely amazed at all You have done for me. You have given back fully what was stolen from my marriage. I want to shout to the world of Your goodness! My heart is filled with wonder as I have watched You do miracles in my life. You have shown me, without a doubt, that You are the one and only real God. My heart is filled with gratitude. I love you, my Daddy. Amen.

Whispers from God:

I am a God of justice. I will always return what has been stolen from My people.
