Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 5:10
NIV: “And the God of all grace, who called you to the eternal glory in
Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you
and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.”
The Message: “The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before
this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and
glorious plans they are—will have you put together and on your feet for
good.”
Father,
You are certainly a God of restoration! I could have never imagined the
ways You would restore my heart. I trust You to restore all that has
been stolen from my life. Help me to keep my eyes on You continually and
wait patiently for the glorious plans You have for my life. Keep me
strong, firm, and steadfast all the days of my life. I love you, my
Daddy. Amen.
